 Steam is another option for a closed nose and helps to prevent mucus drainage into your throat. Try to design your own personal steamer by adding hot water into a bowl.

 If you want to add a better taste you can some sweet-smelling herbs such as oregano, crystallized ginger, or lavender. Wrap your head with a towel and bend over the water. After that breathe thoroughly.
